Director of Compliance

Sim Poh holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from RMIT. Since joining the financial planning industry, he has been very involved in the practical application of information technology.

Being very process-oriented, he is the architect and developer of GYC Financial Advisory's various proprietary financial planning software. This has immensely helped financial advisers to simplify the complicated process of financial analysis and come up with an easy-to-read report of one's financial plan and roadmap. Sim Poh's expertise in this area stems from his 5-year experience in the life insurance industry, along with his continued desire to systematise the science of financial planning.

Sim Poh is currently Director of Compliance. His previous position as Head of Backroom Operations has put him in good stead for this current appointment. He is now responsible for ensuring that all processes comply with the latest regulatory changes and that advisers are likewise fully appraised and aware of their compliance responsibilities.
