30-second Film Awards

30SFA is a non-profit short film competition organised by GYC and UOB Asset Management (UOBAM).
The competition gives creators the chance to win $14k in cash; Adding to the collection of heartwarming stories all around Singapore via the medium of a 30-second video.

There are 3 cash prizes to be won. A single entry can win multiple categories. The winning videos will be featured on our media channels with artist credits given.
People’s Choice
$2,000
Interactions with the video will be tabulated on all platforms that the video is posted (likes, shares, comments, reactions, etc.) The film with the most interactions will be selected.
Client Favourite
$4,000
The GYC Client base will vote on which stories resonated with them the most. The film with the highest number of votes will be selected.
Internal Assessment
$8,000
An internal committee will assess your film in terms of narrative, storytelling, creativity, cinematography, visual quality, etc. The film that most excels in these areas will be selected.
Just a Number (?)
A heartwarming story of how an older person, 20 or more years older than you, positively impacted your life — when it comes to the meeting of kindred souls, age is truly just a number. It could be an existing person in your life or someone who has since passed.
The theme is inspired by the timeless relationship between someone older and younger, mirroring a lot of the inter-generational work we do in our wealth management process here at GYC, ensuring a smooth and meaningful transfer of wealth and wisdom.
How to Participate

Send your film to sfa@gyc.com.sg by using wetransfer as TeamName_FilmTitle
Include a short write up of not more than 500 words, introduce yourself and your film.

Your film will be uploaded by us on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. In order for your submission to be considered, you will have to collaborate, share, and repost the feature. Further details can be found at the link below.
