International Client Advisor

As an International Client Advisor, you will be serving as a financial adviser and confidant to High Net Worth expats based in Singapore, easing them with the transition to a new country.

You should be experienced in helping expats and high net worth individuals navigate their savings, investment, insurance, taxation, and other financial matters, ensuring full compliance with local and overseas regulations. You should be currently working in a financial institution serving High Net Worth Individuals or family offices, and command an AUM of $10 to $30 million.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive financial advice for High Net Worth expats and their families in Singapore

  • Work with our various teams of specialists to provide expert guidance and bespoke solutions to help our expat clients secure and grow their wealth

  • Seek out and develop new client relationships in addition to deepening existing ones

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years experience in the financial industry

  • Currently serving High Net worth individuals or family offices, with an AUM of $10 to $30 million

  • Experience working with expat clients and High Net Worth Individuals as a financial adviser

  • Have a good working knowledge of financial concerns pertaining to expats in their various home jurisdictions

  • Degree from a recognised university (with a preference for Masters in Finance or CFAs)

  • Strong background and experience in capital markets, risk and investment management solutions

  • Passed the relevant CMFAS modules and licensed (current or previously) as a financial adviser representative with the Monetary Authority of Singapore

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

 

Private Wealth Adviser

The Private Client Services team is dedicated to serving the region's high net worth individuals and family offices. As their financial confidant and wealth adviser, we not only manage their wealth but also help clients align their individual and family goals – for example in developing a legacy plan that not only ensures an equitable distribution of wealth, but also incorporates the passing on of personal values.

We work with some of the world's leading financial institutions to help our clients achieve their financial goals – leveraging on their research and product capabilities to manage our clients' investment portfolios and assets.

Ideally, you would have worked in private banks serving High Net Worth Individuals or family offices, and command an AUM of at least $20 million. You now want to be an independent asset manager and be able to offer clients the freedom of not being bound by the strictures of conventional private banking and yet offering them access to high quality products backed by cutting-edge, peer-reviewed research, and truly engaging clients in a deep and mutually rewarding relationship.

Responsibilities:

  • Help clients determine their real financial goals, manage their assets, distil their needs and select from an array of securities and different assets to give them the best probability of successfully growing their wealth.

  • Seek out and develop new client relationships in addition to deepening existing ones

Requirements:

  • Degree from a recognised university (with a preference for Masters in Finance or CFAs)

  • Strong background and experience in capital markets, risk and investment management solutions

  • Passed the relevant CMFAS modules, including Module 3 (fund management), 6 & 6A

  • At least 5 years experience with a recognised private bank

 

Wealth Management Adviser

The Personal Financial Services team serves the company's premier clients (mass affluent customers) and their families. As their trusted financial adviser, you would have developed a close relationship with the client and his or her family, helping them build a robust insurance portfolio as well as a comprehensive investment strategy with several pools of money for specific purposes.

You will work with the company's team of specialists to structure legacy portfolios and build simple trust structures to help young families prepare for the worst scenarios.

Some of you will work in teams with other like-minded advisers of different specialisations, so as to be able to offer comprehensive advice to your consolidated pool of clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial planning with clients

  • Provide proper follow-up service on insurance plans and keep clients abreast of their investment portfolios

  • Keep close tabs on clients' investment portfolios and ensure that they are rebalanced and in sync with the company's latest model portfolios

  • Seek ways to add value to clients

  • Seek out and develop new client relationships in addition to deepening existing ones

Requirements:

  • Some relevant experience in the insurance and financial advisory industry, or with consumer and priority banks. We will also consider those who have worked in other industries and who are prepared to put in the effort to make a mid-career change to this industry.

 

Associate Director – Business Development

Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new corporate clients

  • Make presentations to companies on employee benefits (EB) and other corporate financial solutions

  • Assist companies to structure a cost-effective EB plan and prepare a proposal and cost comparison of various product providers

  • Work with product providers to successfully implement the plan and ensure good follow-up service

Requirements:

  • Degree from a recognised university is preferred

  • Passed CMFAS Modules 5, 8, and 9 and general insurance, including health insurance

  • At least 5 years of sales experience in general insurance, particularly in structuring employee benefit solutions

  • Self-starter with a strong drive to excel in a competitive environment

  • Pleasant personality with excellent communication skills

 

Business Support Executive

Responsibilities:

Responsible for Backroom administrative duties such as:

  • Creating and consolidating trades for subscription and redemption of funds

  • Preparing payments to fund houses / clients and maintaining ledgers

  • Recording dividends received and payouts

  • Processing GIRO applications and administrating the RSP program

  • Billing of fees and account reporting to management

  • Trailer fee tracking and reporting

  • Preparing market updates and email blasts to clients

Supporting Private Client services with:

  • Forex and securities trading data entry and positions/performance tracking

  • Billing of fees and account reporting to management

  • Supporting office with marketing campaigns and other general duties.

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree holder

  • No experience necessary although some experience in a financial institution would be an advantage

  • Organisational and administrative skills with ability to multitask - detailed and meticulous

  • Good in Maths and familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Good attitude, willing to learn and work with various parties - clients, advisers, business partners and vendors

  • Enjoy improving systems, trouble-shooting and preparing standard operating procedures

 

Management Associates Programme

Over a period of 24 months, associates will undergo structured training and departmental rotations. They will also be assigned a mentor and be paid a salary for the entire duration. Upon completion of the programme, associates with a good performance rating may be offered a permanent role in the company. This will be based on the individual’s strengths and aspirations, as well as the company’s needs.
