GYC collaborated with AIESEC, one of the largest global student organizations, to present a series of investment workshops to university students from NUS, NTU, and SMU. The series was held in SMU and comprised 3 workshop seminars spanning the month of March.

The event aimed to equip students with investment skills while they were still young, teaching them how to make intelligent investing decisions and distinguish good advice from bad. Topics covered included the importance of asset allocation, portfolio management, and what to look out for in investment products.

GYC's CEO Goh Yang Chye and Deputy CEO Aw Choon Hui were the main speakers for this event, with a special guest speaker in the second session – William Tan (Head of Sales) from Templeton Asset Management, whom GYC invited to provide the seminar participants with a behind-the-scenes fund manager's perspective.

Workshop 1: Bootcamp – The Idiot's Guide to Investing
Workshop 2: Nuts & Bolts – How the Experts Do It
Workshop 3: Getting Your Feet Wet – Making Your First Million!
